The Kimberley Raft CO prides itself upon offering consistent, excellent customer service. The guides staff are more than just high calibre river bums: they are great people with a shared passion for a healthy outdoor lifestyle...Among the KRC characters you will find:
Craig Campbell: CEO and lead guide.
A consummate river professional, Craig is a 15 year rafting veteran with an interest in many backcountry pursuits. A college tourism instructor in the off season, you can find him pouring over maps searching for new expeditions near and far.
Favourite river: Skookumchuck Creek
Liz Dowling-Trip leader
Characterized by an super sense of humour and constant laugh, Liz has been an integral part of the KRC team for 4 years. An intrepid traveller and winter adventurer, you can find Liz at the Kimberley Ski hill when the rivers aren't flowing.
Favourite River: Dewar Creek
Monte Paynter: Trip leader extraordinaire
Kimberley`s very own ski legend, Monte has been guiding for 8 seasons. A go-to–guide, Monte has helped develop world class river trips such as the Skookumchuck and Dewar creek trips. A veteran adventurer and ski racer, Monte spends the winter scoping ski lines then ripping them up! Monte is great with families and super knowledgeable about the natural history of the area. One of Monte not so hidden talents is his innate ability to cat nap on the a hot bus ride back from the river.
Favourite River: Elk River Lower canyon.
Jared Riel, AKA J-Roc; Trip leader
A well earned nick name, Jared is solid as a rock in the KRC team setting. When asked for his bio he started with ’I have been a raft guide for 5 years and its the best job ever!! I enjoy doing all sorts of outdoor activities and spend my down time fly fishing and canoeing in the rivers around Kimberley. When I am not rafting I work for the Fire Department and volunteer for Search and Rescue.'
